From NASCAR Driver to $15 Million Scammer
Brian Rose was a race car driver that followed in his father’s footsteps, just not in the way you think. David Rose, the father, was convicted of fraud and tax evasion in 2009, settling for just over $15 million. But his son, a former NASCAR driver, had to one up him by spearheading a $15 million Ponzi scheme. This scheme would fund his racing career on his second attempt at NASCAR, after he was first suspended by NASCAR in 2003 after failing to submit to a NASCAR drug test, then getting arrested just months later for possession of illegal substances. Yeah, so we have a lot to get into.

Over in North Carolina, on the same day, William Davis was fatally injured after his car rolled multiple times. To...

As his car went up the track, he used the guardrail as a ramp to flip out of the track and miraculously escaped with little injury. As he was leaving the infield care center, he got word that his father, Lee, had suffered an eerily similar crash - although it was muc...

Jerry Nadeau's Near Tragedy at Richmond
Not. Smokey was the best at finding the gray areas of the rules
Darrell won 12 races each year in 1981 and 1982 not 1980 and 1981. Cale drove for Junior in 1980 winning six races five super speedway races and at Bristol and 14 pole positions.
Woulda, shoulda, coulda, some huge assumptions taken in this narration
Those Ford thunderbirds were the reason nascar mandated restrictor plate racing....they would walk away from the pack Bill Elliott still holds the speed record today at nearly 213.00 MPH
Would have....Should have....Could have.........BUT.........Nobody did it !........For Disney just "installing" 10 or 15 sand or water barrels could have made all the difference. Extending the guardrail on a 30 degree downward slope to the tarmac would have just made a "launch pad" of the track. The people who had a meeting and said the track was safe to use in the opposite direction probably said to themselves " what are the chances". The chances WERE enough, people....God bless and keep you, Gary Terry.
The whole concept of allowing novice drivers to drive high performance cars like that is predictably stupid.
1956 président Regan? You spreading misinformation!
She was lucky that she was good looking.
Call Edwards was hysterical. He would flip off of his car did driver's window when he won he would run up into the crowd and be high five in people and one time he didn't want a dnf so he took his steering wheel the removable and ran across finish line with it!
Modern NASCAR fans: "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!!!! Kyle is the WORST!!!" Also modern NASCAR fans: "Omg Earnhardt "The Intimidator" best of all time, loved how'd he just wreck a man to win"
Ronald Reagan was not president in 1957 so how did he get a presidential pardon?
Having driven a Porsche, I know these cars 'stick until they don't' .. when they let loose they are 100% out of control, no warning ever!.. it can be a small item or a puddle the size of a dinner plate.
3:51 Kevin Harvick’s car is destroyed
it blows my mind that all this happened over weed... what a shit country this is, this mans life was fucked over by a plant that freely grows ANYWHERE. wild.
Fun fact all her total wrecks adds up to an amount of 5 to 6 Million
The 70's
RUclips doesn’t have a problem with the fire
I've done SCCA HPDE events. You drive your own car, however the instructor ride along really teaches you a lot of things. Also SCCA events usually have a skidpad where you can learn some of the low speed dynamics of your car. The professionalism of the SCCA and their emphasis on safety is impressive. I feel sorry for all involved in this tragic incident. I believe the organization made many mistakes with how they ran this program, and the tragic outcome that affected all of the families is so sad. Prayers for all who experience these situations.
Loved watching these when DW commentated! The green flag drops are not the same anymore
In the early 2000s, I worked for a race team the run at the Nashville Fairgrounds. I remember Team Robo. Rumor in the garage was that David was crooked and Brian was on something. This is wild. I haven't thought about the Roses in years.
She was 20000% at fault. Should have never been near a racetrack.
Still would
I was at that race. Come up from Johnsonville to see if. When they towed the car back to the garage, you could see right through it. From side to side.
Two completely different racing dynamics between Indy and Nascar. Should have stayed with open wheel racing she was on the path to greatness! Go Daddy blinded her with money, which is the main reason she failed in NASCAR.
This was one thing that killed nascar, every "next big thing" that came along they handed them the keys to whole show, before they even proved themselves. Like they were willing to just give the farm away to anyone in some kind of desperation.
I would love to watch the whole race and I don’t need 4k quality on videos but the posted video of this race on RUclips is unwatchable. Can’t read the ticker at all
A gun, weed and expired plates? Omg who cares, why was that a big deal? Is this not America?
Marcos Ambrose was even a pain in the ass when he was in the V8 supercars here in Australia too🤬😡
Once Chase went around, there was no way he was going to save that
Great video and a tribute thank you
I have a lot of sympathy for people who are thrust into a spotlight they didn’t ask for and expected live up to unrealistic expectations. I have an enormous amount sympathy for people that are expected to unofficially represent their entire demographic. But I have little sympathy for Danica because she kind of sucks as a person. She was on an f1 race broadcast for kids and was talking about how girls can’t become racers. Like what the fuck?
I am surprised they continued the race directly after the wreck.
She was about half as bad as your typical Nascar fan.
Another important lesson that just because someone has a job doesn't mean they're good at it or earned that position.
805 nascar starts and not one day missed due to wrecks , drivers nowadays tap the wall and they can’t drive the next week !! Ironman JG the GOAT !!
alot of 60"s cars shown..lol
It seems like the silver spoon drivers always go rogue when their careers flounder. The blue collar guys go back home and start a construction company or something.
I think I can explain why Dale Jr and McMurray didn’t have video of it. Though someone in the industry can say otherwise because this is only based on observation from being an avid fan since 2005. The 8 cars that were selected for broadcast cameras in a race had multiple cameras onboard, but they only had one camera FEED to the production truck. My guess is each of the 8 cars had someone actively choosing which of the camera angles in their car was selected to be fed to the production switcher. Whatever was fed to the production was what was saved for replay. The car camera operators for McMurray and Jr. were likely choosing cameras that Sadler was out of frame on. This practice is entirely different now since the CoT days. Replays today are far better at showing relevant camera angles because it’s not one feed be per car, but each camera has its own feed. Just my thoughts and observations. Love the video!
Does anybody remember Ryan Newman at Watkins glen? I do. I specifically remember the announcer, saying: “Ryan was okay, the car was not.”
Don’t beleive this government or. Cops n courts they are the enemy n liars
Real racers was in the truck series in the 2000’s - These guy was outlaws like the moonshiners that built the sport - Brian , Mike leffingwell, Trent Owens , Shane hemeil n more
Hey everyone, try and imagine this... What do you think would have happened if Danica were to have started racing in cup during Dale Sr's career? I can envision some pretty funny shit happening! 🤣
Great job! Thank for the history.
Sloppy video. For example, the photos of Musso's accident are actually of other wrecks involving sports cars - not his F1 car.
To someone outside the sport, there’s something to say for how I know only three names in nascar, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhart, and Danica P
LOL! Robo means "robbery" in spanish.
Also the idea to expand by robert Yates was a brilliant move getting dale Jarret to drive and be a real winner for them
If davey and tim richmon didn't pass Dale Earnhardt wouldn't have been a 7 time champ. Davey and tin both would have been multi time champs
He did the DC solar special before DC solar
Yep, I got to train at Bondurant with the son of the dc solar family for a week. Our coach was buddy rice, let’s just say that kid was definitely new to that type of money 😂 wasn’t surprised when they got raided!
